Choice of air purifiers - Blueair Air or Lights?
Hi all - I am looking to buy an air purifier for my bedroom (a little over 150 square feet), to help reduce dust, airborne allergens, etc. My mother smokes a lot, This does not help. After being diagnosed with a (very) minor, restrictive lung disease, I start taking better care of my health - in particular as regards respiration. We have the air filter general attached to the A / C / heating unit, but I want something more. Do some research, I thought I would just get the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze, but have read many bad things about this - In particular the ozone produced is very bad for your health. Looking around, I found the Blueair 250E Digital Air Purifier (http://www.achooallergy.com/blueair250eairpurifier.asp product_reviews #) and the Air Lights Plasma Air Purifier (http://reviews.ebay.com/Review-of-the-Air-Lights-Plasma- Air Purifier_W0QQugidZ10000000002480036). I am inclined to Blueair, but as other comments and suggestions!
I heard great things about BlueAir and know some people who have one. This is not the same model you have listed above, but all love their system. A family member who has a BlueAir absolutely loves and she had more than 5 years and it still works very significant. Ionic Breeze compared to an air purifier with HEPA filter?
I'm minnimize air "stale" smell mixed with smells of food we have in our apartment. My spouse is craving fresh air, but do not know why I should get. My grandmother had one years ago Ionic Breeze unit type and I liked the smell, but not sure my spouse would have responded the same. They hate that I love almost everything I am thinking of the air purifier with charcoal inserts. Anybody have any luckw ith them? The "customer reviews" on Amazon.com and Other sites seem as if they were written by the manufacturers anyway.
HEPA and carbon filter would be my choice. Most type devices Ionic Breeze emit ozone, a major lung irritant and can cause asthma-like symptoms in almost anyone. Does anyone have any comment on Ionic Pro Turbo?
I am with my allergies, Claritin or Allegra even, until I go outside. Once I get blocked, there is no cure. It is difficult to sleep, I always sneeze when I started, and it Just misery. What a good air purifier for a cab?
My fiance works for a large manufacturing company had and it is often miserable because of the conditions of the cube. He is looking for a kind of fan or ionizer is very small (such as office size), quiet, and preferably operates off the computer power. It is not allowed to take anything the size of an exchange regular fan (as a fan of the tower) and would need something super small. I saw Day-Timer Ionic Air Flow Fan with Clock on Amazon.com, but After searching the internet, I could not find any actual reviews of the product. Has anyone used anything they recommend?

Moreover, if air quality is poor, an ionizer really do work not because they do not get rid of particles, they cause to become heavy and fall. As they produce ozone as a byproduct, not a good idea to run one in a small space like a cupboard. Have air ionizer refrigerator better than baking soda?
There are many models of low battery operated purifiers air fridge available, but there are not many comments I can find. These things ionize the air and create small amounts ozone are expected to keep mold, bacteria and odors to a minimum. Are they worth buying or should we stick with baking soda Standard old refrigerator? Ok, so a box of baking soda is not the gold standard, but has anyone out there tried one of ionizers Air refrigerator?

They have made some experiments and found that baking soda has not done such a job because there was so little of the surface of the soda's area exposed to absorb odors. They recommended spreading on a baking sheet and even better than baking soda, use of charcoal. But the best way to keep your refrigerator smelling, they have found is to keep only all food tightly sealed and keep the refrigerator clean.
