My search for the best air purifier
Because of allergies and asthma that I have owned more than 56 air purifiers since 1974. And even became in a health professional in 1982 due to the way they overcame allergies and asthma naturally.
I have owned: ozone air purifiers, air purifiers Ionic, Zeolite, HEPA air cleaners, ultraviolet light, air purifiers catalytic plate, air purifiers and water brnad namesincluding - Alpine Air, EcoQuest, Hunter, Panasonic, Austin, IQAir, Sunair, and about 23 other "no name" Chinese brands. (I avoided ionic Sharper Image and Oreck simply just because does not do enough for me.)
So I'll say I've seen it all.
Last year Austin, IQAir, Oreck and Sharper Image (their new models, non-ionic breeze) made me an offer to distribute their products.
I said no.
Here's why:
The failure to replace filter air purifiers do a great job
The idea sounds great, but once you've seen a dirty HEPA filter (HEPA is a cloth that acts as a filter that contains dust and pollution) is aware of no filters are not making a lot of dust or pollen - the lungs of ARE!
"No Change Filter Models" include:
Ionic Breeze
Oreck models (they contradict themselves in their website. You have to replace the filters, but are not HEPA)
Remedy - Get a purifier of air having affordable replacements. HEPA is important if you have allergies.
Most replacement filters (HEPA, charcoal) are overvalued
Air Purifiers 2.3 in Japan include additional replacement filters. WHY? Because the Japanese are ahead.
U.S. Manufacturers American has not think ahead so overloaded. Once you purchase an air purifier that'll be stuck paying what they ask for. (It reminds me of my inkjet printer 89 dollars for the replacement cartridges are $ 28!)
Remedy: Ask for filter prices first. Every 6-12 months you will have to change filters. And no more than $ 25 is too much.
Shopping Tip: ask for an additional discount on replacement filters before buying.
Most air purifiers do not footage Square Box
I called Oreck tower when his new $ 700 list covering 1100 feet square. "How Many Times Does It Change The air in the room?" (That often means that will change all the air in the room). I did not. Finally, a technician said: "One hour." Let the poor.

New sensor technology is a new Japan cold technology, which detects the pollen. You agree to provide greater relief of allergy. It continuously adjusts the plant room to save electricity and conjecture.
The wonder is that more manufacturers are producing air purifiers that include multiple forms of technology.
CONCLUSION: For an air purifier that has a HEPA, and 3-5 additional technologies, such as UV rays and ions. Stay away from infomercial brands, such as price marking is high. Expect to pay $ 250-325 (and not pay more). Ensure that replacement filters are reasonably priced.

Ionic Breeze compared to an air purifier with HEPA filter?
I'm minnimize air "stale" smell mixed with smells of food we have in our apartment. My spouse is craving fresh air, but do not know why I should get. My grandmother had one years ago Ionic Breeze unit type and I liked the smell, but not sure my spouse would have responded the same. They hate that I love almost everything I am thinking of the air purifier with charcoal inserts. Anybody have any luckw ith them? The "customer reviews" on Amazon.com and Other sites seem as if they were written by the manufacturers anyway.
HEPA and carbon filter would be my choice. Most type devices Ionic Breeze emit ozone, a major lung irritant and can cause asthma-like symptoms in almost anyone. Is it better to install a HEPA filter in the furnace or the purchase of HEPA air purifiers for each room?
I try fight against allergens in my house as my boyfriend is allergic to my cat. I was considering buying an air purifier HEPA room and a large Kitchen / dining / living room of my house. I also plan on replacing the furnace and could soon have a HEPA filter installed on the furnace of the time too. One of them is better than another in terms of cutting down allergens in the air? Financially, individual units seem cheaper, but I feel like the furnace filter might be more effective because it would help the whole house. Good purifiers individual air cost between $ 400 - $ 700 I would buy several. Get a blast furnace of the line would cost even more. "Being at a Time" is not really an option.
I impacted by Trane Clean installed in my heating / cooling. I found that even if they are costly to be installed (approximately $ 2,000 per unit), they are by FAR my clean air much better than any Freestanding air purifiers. Prevention dust is phenomenal and as long as the fans units are running, then the specific effects are working. Just turn fan "ON" instead of "AUTO" and as long as the air moves through the "back" and circulate your air cleaned. I highly recommend these units and they can be adapted to your existing equipment as long as it has a two speed fan, most of them today. Good luck!

How to clean the HEPA filter air purifier??
I just bought a Honeywell air purifier out craigslist.com. This works very well but subtle smell of the house where I bought it. It bothers me! The online ads for air purifier you do not replace the filters, but simply washing. How can I do? Just go under the water?
