UV also known as Ultra Violet, works by using radiation. Sounds just curious? Well, in a sense, I suppose. But this note, the same radiation kills germs, pollen, bacteria, smoke, is not the same type of radiation that will hurt you. It is a smaller, controlled "Substance" that allows "germs" to flow into the air purifier and get zapped to the UV light. These UV rays will not irritate the skin or something like that. The UV light tube is designed to be used to destroy germs in and around your home.
Most of these purifiers are quite small, they will own, a two-room or floor of your home. However, I have seen some on the market that purify the air in your entire house. These units are slightly smaller than an air conditioner you put in your window, and certainly not too large. I like UV purifiers because they have always rated very highly by people, but they will not cost you an arm and a leg. This is one of the most important to me. I am fully willing to pay hundreds for something that will help me, but for me the product must have gotten some good reviews from consumers. It's a good idea in general to always look for reviews on products before to buy anything online or off!
